Connecting Dog Lovers with Local Services

My name is Christine Roe and I am the founder of Bailey’s Doggy Directory, LLC and my golden retriever, Bailey, is my inspiration. I grew up in the Chicago area and decided to relocate to sunny Arizona in 2004. I’ve always been a dog lover and back in 2008 my life changed forever when I adopted Bailey from Rescue a Golden of Arizona. He was around 2 years old and had a rough start in life. But as soon as I opened my front door and our eyes met, my heart melted. I knew he was my dog.

For the past 20 years I’ve been in the corporate world, specializing in Marketing. But I started feeling like I was meant to do something different and I knew that I wanted it to be with dogs. Then one day I had this epiphany! Why is it so hard to find local services for Bailey? It’s really time consuming to do a thorough search online and then a whole other adventure in trying to find useful reviews. That’s when it hit me – I could create a website that brings together dog owners within our community with local dog business owners. A place where dog lovers can search, find and review local dog businesses and also have some fun through Bailey’s Blog. Bailey’s Doggy Directory currently covers Phoenix and the East Valley, with plans to quickly expand our coverage into the West Valley and beyond.
